Xusen Guo
I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Intelligent Transportation (INTR) at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), under the guidance of Prof. Yuxuan Liang and Prof. Hai Yang. During the first year of my doctoral studies, I was also mentored by Professor Prof. Meixin Zhu.
Prior to my Ph.D. studies, I worked in the industry. From 2020 to 2023, I served as a Perception Engineer at Waytous.com, where I was responsible for the development and deployment of roadside perception systems in mining areas. I also had a brief stint at Banma.ai, where I worked on the development of perception systems for autonomous vehicle parking features, including automatic parking and memory parking functions.
I completed my graduate studies at the School of Computer Science, Sun Yat-sen University, where I conducted research on autonomous vehicle perception systems under the supervision of Prof. Kai Huang at the Institute of Automation. My primary focus was on multi-sensor fusion algorithms. I completed my undergraduate degree at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University, with a focus on computer simulations of molecular sieve structures.
Currently, my primary research interests include LLM Agents, Multi-Agent Simulation, Urban Sensing, and Urban Simulation.
